Prizeflix B.V. processes as little personal data as possible on this website. We do not sell data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use cookies.

This policy covers prizeflix.com. Our subscription services each publish their own privacy policy, which explains the data used when you subscribe, such as your mobile number and billing details.

Data we process

• Visit data. Our hosting provider logs technical details of each visit, such as IP address, browser, operating system, requested page and time. We use these logs only to operate and protect the website.
• Messages. When you email us we receive your email address, your name and anything else you include, such as your mobile number.

Purposes and legal grounds

• Operating and protecting the website, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Answering your messages and handling your requests, based on your request and our legitimate interest.
• Keeping records required by law, based on a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

If we ever wish to contact you for a reason you did not ask for, we will ask for your consent first.

Recipients

External providers host this website and our email on our behalf. They act only on our instructions and are bound by an agreement to protect your data. Beyond that, data is only shared where needed to handle your request, with parties assisting us with accounting and administration, or with authorities where the law requires it, for example in a tax or criminal investigation.

Location

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area.

Retention

• Visit logs: 30 days.
• Messages: up to 2 years after our most recent contact.
• Messages and records relating to a payment or invoice: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us to:

• give you access to your personal data;
• correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
• erase your data, unless we must keep it by law;
• restrict the processing of your data;
• provide your data in a machine-readable format or pass it to another party;
• stop processing your data if you object to it.

We do not take decisions about you based solely on automated processing. Send your request to info@prizeflix.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will reply within 30 days.

Complaints

Please contact us first if you are unhappy with how we handle your data. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

We use suitable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorised use.
